Our team of 10 friends from Poland booked the trip to Etna and Alcantara with Trails of Sicily and we did not regret a single minute. We were picked up from choosen place in Catania by Luigi and Fabrizio. Both great hosts and quides. The whole experience was incredible, from start to end we were quided and looked after. Proper boots and jackets provided for those who needed appropriate clothing to start Etna adventure. Luigi as very experienced volcanologist shared his knowledge and interesting facts about Etna and Alcantara. Our guide, Luigi, was outstanding. His passion for Mount Etna, nature, and Sicilian history made the entire journey fascinating from start to finish. My partner and I went on a half day tour up Etna and had THE BEST time. Luigi is so genuine and knowledgeable, he gave such a personal touch to the tour. We learnt about the history of the land and earth as well as customs and stories of the region. Good value for money and perfect group size. Our trek to the North East Crater of Mt. Etna was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Everything was so well organized, and having a pickup directly from Catania made the start of the day easy and stress-free. We were a group of about 20 people, and from the very beginning, the three guides made the experience special. Their love for Mt. Etna really came through in the way they talked about the volcano—sharing stories, history, and their own experiences. They were also very experienced hikers and gave us great trekking tips along the way. I really appreciated how they helped people of different levels feel confident and supported throughout the climb. The scenery was breathtaking, and standing at the crater felt like something out of a dream. This tour was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and connection with nature. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Sicily—it's an experience I'll never forget.

Asia was a joy to be around. She is definitely an energy giver and her passion for Mt. Etna and Sicily combined with her deep knowledge, sense of humor and local connections made her a wonderful tour guide and left us with a smile on our faces.
